Visiting a newborn reminds me that although it feels like yesterday I gave birth, it will be her first birthday soon. Its a reminder of just how quickly time goes by and how priceless my photos of that fourth trimester truly are!

….My youngest baby just turned 10 months. Although I feel like she is still a newborn, really she isn’t. I feel like I gave birth, blinked and the newborn stage vanished overnight. In the days (and nights) of that fourth trimester somewhere something changes and the curled up details of the little squish stretch out into the next stage and those details become a memory.

That is why I love love love to capture all the natural newborn details.
