This birth story started thirty years ago. When one of your nearest and dearest announces their fourth pregnancy you know you need to be their to document their last baby’s birth.

At the time I was pregnant with my first child and the thought of having someone photograph a birth was something I could not fathom. Then I had my daughter and I got it.
